Barbara Mahmoudi, a professional Scottie groomer, joined the Scottie Club UK’s Sunday Zoom meeting to show how to handstrip at home.
Scottie Sonny, a delightful 4-year-old, modeled for the demo and Barbara took questions. Sonny has qualified in successive years for Crufts, and when you see how calmly he handled the event, you can see why.
During lockdown it is especially important to be more self-sufficient and Barbara showed how this can be done by the dog owners themselves.
As several club members joined in we ran into connection problems, so Barbara kindly agreed to stay on to do a second filming in a 1 to 1 interview.
We decided to take questions via WhatsApp and Barbara answered questions.
Barbara can also help club members handstrip their own dogs and offers 1 to 1 tuition via Zoom.
