Happy International Women’s Day! 8 March is an auspicious day. Apart from watching Scotties of both sexes parade at Crufts dog show in Birmingham, UK, this weekend, it is also a day to celebrate the women in our lives and the achievements of women.
So at Scottie Radio UK we decided to take a look at the contribution women have made to our listenership. A total of 45.9% of listeners identify as women and 52.6% as men. All data from our partner Spotify.
When it comes to pawrents who sign up as Members of Scottie Club UK with their Very Important Pooches, it is more like 70% who are women. However, that may be because more women in households opt to sign up online. This also doesn’t factor in that many of those signing up have partners – who often do most of the walkies duties 🙂
