Safety rules
Scottie Club UK reserves the right to post your fabulous photos and vidoes to any of the above social media channels, as it is deemed public once shared on WhatsApp. But we also appreciate that some Members might in the past have preferred WhatsApp for added privacy.
WhatsApp does offer more privacy but since we can share your content, although we try to do this sparingly, you might actually prefer to be in control of that and post to these channels yourself. Choose images that you are comfortable to share and post words you are confident to stand by. Your posts, whether to WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (X) or YouTube are your own responbsbility and you must own copyright to your content. So do not post other people’s content without their expressed permission. Remember these other social media channels can be viewed by anyone.
Meanwhile, member or not, anyone is welcome to use the share tools at the foot of every story post on our website, using the familiar social media channels plus a few more besides! So spread the love !
