The special bursary offered to a talented Scottie in 2026 has been set at £100 by the Matlock family on 1 March.
This award is offered to one Scottie who has excelled during this year’s Scottie Academy course – the unique training ground for Scotties to enter media like advertising, theatre or movies.
The Scottie Academy 2026 will begin on 14 March and only a few places remain available.
To make things easier, we have changed the payment terms, although all other conditions remain the same.
The course, offered by expert media trainer Kathleen Tepperies, is priced at £169 – already a considerable saving versus the 2025 course.
But students (owners) pay just half of that sum, £85, in early March 2026, and the balance of £84 in early September ahead of the final stage of the course. All fees go directly to the trainer. Scottie Club UK derives no financial reward.
But one lucky dog awarded the Pikush Media Scholarship will receive a refund of £100 cash shortly after the award is announced on 3 October 2026. So for 2026, that means a full refund of the third and final part of the course, and some!
